Today, we embark on our journey from Fez bright and early, venturing southward into the heart of Morocco’s mesmerizing landscapes. Our first stop takes us to Ifrane, often referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco, where you’ll have the opportunity to marvel at its picturesque beauty and capture unforgettable moments with your camera. Next, we’ll make our way to Azrou, where you’ll encounter the playful inhabitants of the cedar forest – monkeys! Enjoy a delightful lunch at a restaurant in Midelt before continuing our drive.

As we traverse the Tizi N Talghamt pass towards Errachidia, prepare to be enchanted by the breathtaking vistas of the Ziz gorges. Pause for a moment to take in the panoramic splendor of the Ziz valley before we resume our journey. Our route will lead us through Aoufous and Erfoud, renowned for their abundance of fossils and dates. Should you wish, we can make a stop at a local fossil craft workshop to witness the artisans at work.

Our final destination for the day is the enchanting Erg Chebbi Dunes, also known as the Merzouga Dunes.
