- Your desert odyssey commences as our driver picks you up at 13:30 AM from Errachidia Airport. Marvel at the panoramic vistas of the Ziz Valley, one of Morocco’s most breathtaking valleys, during a brief stop. Journey to Erfoud, renowned for its fossils and annual date festival, where a visit to the local fossil workshop awaits. Continue your journey to the charming Erg Chebbi dunes, also known as the Merzouga dunes. Upon arrival, prepare for a camel ride into the heart of the desert. Experience stunning sunsets, test your sandboarding skills, and capture awe-inspiring moments. At the camp, savor mint tea, a delectable dinner, Berber drum music, and the enchanting starry sky. Day 2 : Merzouga » Al-Badawi Family » Rissani » Ouda Merzji Dunes
- Day two begins with a delightful breakfast at your desert camp, preparing you for a camel ride back to Merzouga. Our desert journey continues as we traverse the sands in a comfortable four-wheel-drive vehicle. Along the way, we’ll visit a Bedouin family near the Moroccan-Algerian border, gaining insight into their unique way of life. Later, immerse yourself in the culture of the dark-skinned Gnawa people, descendants of Sudanese slaves, by enjoying their vibrant music and learning about their traditions. We’ll then head to Rissani Market, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore this ancient traditional market where Bedouins and locals from desert villages gather to buy and sell their necessities. We return to the desert to relax for another night, either at the camp or the hotel, with various activities such as quad biking and dune buggy rides available.
Day 3 : Merzouga » Airport Transfer
- At 15:45, we depart for Errachidia Moulay Ali Cherif Airport for your departure flight. This marks the conclusion of our 3-day desert expedition.
