Day 1: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Ouarzazate
The first day of the 5-day tour from Marrakech begins with an early morning departure from your accommodation. The first stop is the village of Ait Barka, located near the Amzigh natural areas. After exploring the area with your driver and learning about the trip’s schedule and sights, you take a break to enjoy the beautiful natural landscape.
Continuing south, you cross the Tizi n’ Tichka Pass, the highest pass in Morocco at 2260m, which leads to the rocky and red clay soil landscape. Your next destination is the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou, a UNESCO World Heritage site dating back to the 17th century. This fortified town is renowned for its earthen construction and has been featured in numerous films.
After having lunch in Ait Ben Hadou, you proceed to Ouarzazate, the capital of the Ouarzazate Province, located on the edge of the Sahara desert. Here, you visit the Atlas Film Studios, the largest film studio in the world, where many famous movies were filmed. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the studios, learn about the films and actors, and capture the unique Moroccan scenery.
The first day concludes with reaching your hotel, marking the end of the eventful day of the 5-day desert tour from Marrakech.
Day 2: Ouarzazate - Dades Gorge - Todra Gorge - Merzouga Desert.
After breakfast, depart from Ouarzazate towards the Dades Gorge, passing through the stunning Skoura Oasis and the Valley of Roses. Explore the captivating Dades Gorge and continue to the Todra Gorge, renowned for its towering rock formations. After lunch, proceed to the Merzouga Desert, where you will experience a memorable camel ride across the sand dunes to reach your luxury desert camp. Enjoy dinner under the stars and overnight in the camp.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert Exploration.
Start your day with a beautiful sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp. Spend the day exploring the Merzouga Desert, including visits to the berber Nomads and Khamlia village to experience the Gnawa music and the fossil beds in Erfoud and explore Rissani Market.. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Merzouga - Midelt - Ifrane - Fes.

A stop in Midelt allows for lunch and rest in the heart of the Atlas. Later, the tour proceeds through the Cedar Woods, where fortunate sightings of monkeys might occur. The next destination is Ifrane, located in the Middle Atlas, 1630 meters above sea level. With its broad avenues, clean urban development, gardens, green areas, and Swiss-like architecture, Ifrane feels unique and almost out of place in Morocco
Day 5: Fes Exploration.
Spend your final day exploring the cultural and historical treasures of Fes. Visit the medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and wander through its narrow streets, bustling souks, and historic landmarks such as Al Quaraouiyine University, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the Royal Palace. Conclude your tour with a transfer to your accommodation in Fes.
