Day 1 : Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Gorges – Erg Chebbi.
Start your journey with a pick-up from your accommodation, heading towards the Sahara desert of Erg Chebbi via the Middle Atlas Mountains and the lush cedar forests of Azrou. Pass through Ifrane, known as the “Moroccan Switzerland,” famous for its unique architecture and skiing. After a delightful lunch in Midelt, continue to Merzouga, passing through the picturesque Ziz Valley and the town of Erfoud. Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon for a sunset camel ride and an overnight stay in Berber tents amidst the dunes.
Day 2 : Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Ouarzazate.
Wake up early to witness a stunning sunrise over the dunes and take a camel ride back to the hotel. After breakfast, leave the tranquility of the Sahara behind and head towards Rissani and Tafilalet, historical centers of the Alaouite dynasty. Visit the breathtaking Todra Gorges, then pause for lunch en route to Ouarzazate via Boumalne Dades and the Roses Valley, known for its abundant rose cultivation. Travel along the scenic road of a thousand Kasbahs before staying overnight at a hotel or Riad in Ouarzazate or Dades Valley.
Day 3 : Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech.
After breakfast, explore the Kasbah of Taourirt and the film studios in Ouarzazate, then visit the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou. Admire the ancient Berber architectural marvel, a backdrop for many international and Moroccan films. Enjoy panoramic views of the village and surrounding High Atlas Mountains before concluding your tour with a transfer to Marrakech.
