Day 1 : Arrival to Marrakech » Transfert to your accommodation.
- Arrival : Upon reaching Marrakech, you will be greeted and taken to your hotel/Riad for accommodation. Take some time to relax and get comfortable. Stay overnight in Marrakech.
Day 2 : Marrakech guided sightseeing tour with a local guide.
- Marrakech Exploration: Embark on a captivating journey through Marrakech, known as the ‘southern pearl’ of Morocco and a historic hub for traders and travelers. Discover its rich heritage as you visit prominent landmarks and cultural sites. Begin your tour at the Menara Gardens, followed by a visit to the renowned Jardin Majorelle, Bahia Palace, and the impressive Saadian tombs. Marvel at the grandeur of the Koutoubia Mosque, dominated by its towering 77-meter high minaret at the heart of Marrakech. Day 3 : : Marrakech » Essaouira.
- Embarking on a pleasant drive from Marrakech, travelers can head towards Essaouira, a charming seaside town known for its UNESCO World Heritage-listed status. Along the way, they can encounter argan oil cooperatives, adding to the scenic journey. Essaouira boasts a windswept fishing port, expansive beaches, and an ancient walled medina, complete with ramparts that merge seamlessly with the cliffs. The town has always been a popular destination, offering a laid-back atmosphere. Visitors can explore the compact yet vibrant medina, leisurely stroll along the ramparts or beach, and witness the bustling activities of the local port. Additionally, Essaouira hosts the Gnaouas Music Festival in June, which adds a vibrant cultural element to the experience. Accommodation is available in local riads, where travelers can unwind and spend the first night of their 14-day Moroccan adventure outside of Marrakech.
Day 4 : Essaouira » Safi » Oualidia » El Jadida.
- Continuing the journey from Essaouira, travelers can make a stop at Safi, a town previously occupied by the Portuguese. Safi is renowned for its sardine exports and is particularly famous for its pottery craftsmanship. After exploring Safi, the next destination is Oualidia, a charming seaside village. Oualidia offers a tranquil setting with a protected lagoon, estuary, and the untamed Atlantic Ocean in close proximity. Visitors can engage in various activities such as walking, birdwatching (especially during the Spring and Autumn seasons when the area is teeming with birdlife), fishing, swimming, kayaking, kite surfing, and surfing. Oualidia’s natural surroundings provide ample opportunities for outdoor adventures. Day 5 : El Jadida » Casablanca » Rabat.

Pass through El Jadida, a small port city, formerly controlled by the Portuguese, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage site; and stop in Casablanca to visit Mohammed V square and the impressive mosque of Hassan II.Explore the Imperial City of Rabat, including the Mechouar (the ramparts and walls surrounding the Royal Palace), the majestic Mohammed V Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower, and the Oudaya Kasbah, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and offering fabulous views, as well as being home to Moroccan artisan galleries. Day 6 : Rabat » Asilah » Tangier.
- Continuing our 14 days Morocco trip from Marrakech. Depart Rabat for Tangier along the stunning coastal road. Visit Asilah, a beautiful coastal town with its whitewashed houses, blue walls and doors, and many murals. Tangier, the gateway to Africa from Europe, has always been an international melting pot.Take a tour of Tangier and explore the bustling medina, and city surroundings, and enjoy the stunning vista where the Mediterranean and Atlantic oceans meet. Overnight in Tangier.
Day 7 : Tangier » Chefchaouen Blue City.
- Depart Tangier for the enchanting mountain village of Chefchaouen, passing through the green valleys of the Rif Mountains.Chefchaouen is famous for its vivid blue-rinsed houses and is very popular for both tourists and Moroccans, particularly in the hot summer months.Explore Chefchaouen, with its winding lanes and narrow alleys which are home to numerous souks offering cuisine and artisan works, such as woolen items, intricate embroidery, and goat’s cheese; all native to the North and not found anywhere else in Morocco.Relax in the square, visit a local farm, or hike in nearby parks. Night in Chefchaouen.
Day 8 : Chefchaouen » Volubilis » Meknes » Fes.
- After your breakfast in the riad, our authentic journey will start a scenic drive that will take us from high in the Rif Mountains through the fertile agricultural hills to the Roman Ruins at Volubilis, an open-air museum.Volubilis is not as spectacular as the Roman sites on the Mediterranean rim but it is still a relaxed way of envisaging an important part of Moroccan history.We will shift our way to Meknes, the fourth of Morocco’s imperial cities and the 17th-century heritage where we will stop for lunch and hang around the historical huge walls of the medina. After launch, we take a glimpse of Bab el Mansour and enjoy a visit to Moulay Ismail’s shrine.after the visit to Meknes, we will drive directly to Fes city where you will spend the night.
Day 9 : Fes sightseeing escorted by an official local guide.
- Today, we will enjoy all that Fes has to offer by taking a guided city tour of Fes.Fes is the oldest and largest medieval city in the world. Its medina is a heady mix of aromas, sounds, and sights.To navigate, follow one of the five-themed tourist circuits. There are plenty of mosques and palaces to visit, but be aware that only Muslims can enter Mosques in Morocco.After exploring dye-pits, tanneries, and restaurants, we return to our hotel to prepare for an optional night of Moroccan entertainment and food at a restaurant in town.
Day 10 : Fes » Ifrane » Azrou » Ziz Gorges » Erfoud » Merzouga.
- After breakfast, we will embark on a picturesque journey over the Moyen Atlas towards Ifrane, through hills covered in forests of cork oak and giant cedar, home of a few Barbary apes.Crossing beautiful and tranquil passes over both the Middle and High Atlas ranges we will catch a first glimpse of the south’s incredible architecture. Lunch in Midelt approached through a bleak plain of scrub and desert.The dramatic peaks of the High Atlas, rising behind the town, provide a spectacular background. Crossing Tizi-n-Talremt (Pass of the She-Camel), we will descend into a desert plain along the Ziz valley.We will then head south to Erfoud and Rissani, a huge oasis containing over six million palm trees, edged by many ksour (fortified villages).Continuing along a striking route that marks the transition to desert, we will travel to your amazing Kasbah hotel at the edge of the golden sand dunes, relax beside the swimming pool, at night you will meet a desert blues band live show.
Day 11 : Merzouga » Visit Nomad families & Other sites in Erg Chebbi.
- desert adventure in Merzouga, Morocco. The day begins with witnessing a desert sunrise followed by a return to the hotel on camelback. After freshening up and having breakfast, there is a period of relaxation. The next activity is a 4 WD off-road tour, exploring the dunes and visiting various locations such as the oasis of Merzouga, the village of Khamlia inhabited by the Gnawa people, and the tents of desert nomads. There is also a visit to the nearby lake of Merzouga known for its bird populations. The journey continues to Rissani, once a prominent trading hub, where a walk through the souk is offered, featuring spices, vegetables, and clothes. Lunch is enjoyed in Rissani before returning to the Kasbah. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with tea and have time to relax before embarking on a camel ride into the pink sands of the highest dunes in Morocco. There is an opportunity to explore the dunes before sunset. Dinner is served, accompanied by traditional music, and the night is spent in a nomad tent.
Day 12 : Merzouga » Todra Gorges » Dades Valley.
- Leaving the desert, we move on to Todra Gorge. This 1000ft gorge is hemmed in on all sides by vertical limestone cliffs and is called Morocco’s Grand Canyon.There’s time to explore the gorge today, from its plunging depths to dizzying heights. The charm of Todra lies in its changing colors as the sun slowly moves from east to west. We move onto the stunning Dades for the night.
Day 13 : Boumalen Dades » Ouarzazate » Ait Ben Haddou » Marrakech.
- After breakfast, the journey continues by driving through charming villages with Berber women cultivating fields against the backdrop of the High Atlas peaks. The route then leads to Ouarzazate, where an off-road detour takes visitors to meet Berber nomads in their caves and share a cup of tea with them. The next stop is the Valley of the Roses, famous for its Rose Festival, followed by a visit to the kasbahs of Skoura. In Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” there is a visit to the cinematographic museum. Crossing the riverbed, the tour arrives at Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visitors can explore the ruins, climb the hill to the Agadir for panoramic views, and interact with residents over a glass of mint tea. In the afternoon, the journey continues northward, crossing the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, offering breathtaking mountain views. The descent leads to Berber villages and the plain surrounding Marrakech. Marrakech, a city dating back to the 11th century, is famous for its enchanting alleyways, bustling souks, and vibrant markets. The iconic Koutoubia Minaret stands tall, dominating the city’s skyline.
Day 14 : Marrakech at leisure – Transfer to the airport.
- Today we will try to benefit our time as much as we can, wander around Marrakech souks to get some souvenirs for friends…, then transfer to Marrakech Menara airport for your departure flight. End of our 14 days Morocco trip from Marrakech.
